Third-Party AI Services
LeadRelay uses the following third-party AI services to power its conversational features:
- Anthropic (Claude) — Used for natural language understanding in SMS conversations, lead qualification, and job booking interactions.
- Google Gemini — Used as an alternative language model for conversational AI processing and lead classification.
- OpenAI — Used as an alternative language model for conversational AI processing and lead classification.
How Your Data Is Used
AI services are used exclusively to process SMS and email conversations between business owners and their leads. This includes understanding caller intent, qualifying leads, and facilitating job booking.
Calendar data is not processed by AI services. When you connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar, LeadRelay reads your availability programmatically to avoid scheduling conflicts and writes confirmed bookings back to your calendar. This data is handled through direct API calls and is never sent to any AI model.
Email sending via Gmail. When you optionally connect your Google account, LeadRelay can send emails on your behalf from your own email address through the Gmail API. Email content is composed within the platform and sent directly via Google's API — it is not processed by third-party AI services.
Data Handling Practices
- Conversation data sent to AI providers is used solely for generating responses and is not used to train third-party AI models.
- We do not sell or share your data with AI providers for purposes other than processing your conversations.
- All AI API calls are made over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
